Chief Financial Officer

A diversified multinational business group headquartered in Dubai is looking to appoint a highly competent Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations, strengthen financial governance, and contribute to the Group’s long-term strategic objectives and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities • Formulate and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the Group’s business objectives. • Direct budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow planning, and periodic financial performance reviews. • Evaluate the financial results of multiple business divisions and advise senior management on performance improvement opportunities. • Supervise accounting operations, treasury management, taxation, external audits, and statutory compliance. • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements and periodic management accounts. • Optimise working capital, enhance cost efficiency, assess business profitability, and oversee financial investment planning. • Develop robust financial governance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and internal control mechanisms. • Maintain effective working relationships with auditors, banking partners, financial institutions, and relevant regulatory bodies. • Provide financial leadership and support for business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate development initiatives, as required. • Lead and strengthen the capabilities of the Group’s finance and accounting teams, promoting accountability and operational excellence. • Advise the senior leadership on financial results, emerging risks, business opportunities, and strategic financial decisions. • A postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Professional credentials such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly desirable. • At least 10–15 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, and corporate finance, with a strong background in leadership roles. • Prior experience in a senior financial position, such as CFO, Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, or a comparable executive role. • Proven ability to manage financial operations and reporting across diverse business activities and multiple corporate entities. • Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, treasury operations, budgeting, auditing, and corporate compliance. • Expertise in group consolidation, financial forecasting, liquidity management, and the development of effective internal control procedures. • Excellent strategic thinking, financial analysis, problem-solving, and executive decision-making skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience engaging senior management and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in various enterprise resource planning systems, and modern financial management tools. • Experience working within the UAE or wider GCC market will be considered an advantage.
