Central AC/Chiller technician/Workshop technician/General Maintenance

Role & responsibilities CENTRAL AC TECHNICIAN • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair central air-conditioning systems. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units). • Inspect and maintain cooling coils, filters, blowers, motors and ventilation systems. • Check refrigerant levels, compressor operation and cooling performance. • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment. • Inspect thermostats, sensors, control panels and HVAC automation systems. • Check chilled water pipelines, valves, pumps and water circulation systems. • Clean air filters, cooling coils, drain trays and condensate lines. • Identify air leakage, abnormal noise, vibration and airflow problems. • Maintain maintenance records and follow safety procedures. CHILLER TECHNICIAN • Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot industrial and commercial chiller systems. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers. • Inspect and service chillers manufactured by Carrier, York, Trane, Daikin, and other brands. • Diagnose faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators and expansion valves. • Check refrigerant pressure, temperature, leakage and charging. • Monitor chilled water supply and return temperatures. • Maintain cooling towers, condenser pumps, chilled water pumps and associated piping. • Troubleshoot electrical panels, control circuits, sensors and thermostats. • Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, vacuuming and gas charging as required. • Monitor chiller performance, cooling capacity and energy efficiency. • Identify abnormal vibration, noise, high-pressure and low-pressure faults. • Maintain service reports and preventive maintenance records.
