• Accurately process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring minimal wait times and optimal customer satisfaction. • Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is neatly displayed and easily accessible to customers. • Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision, ensuring proper change is given and all financial exchanges are securely managed. • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing assistance and answering inquiries to enhance their shopping experience. • High school diploma or equivalent education is required; further education in business or finance is a plus. • Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment preferred, ideally with at least 1-2 years in a similar role. • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential for efficiency and accuracy. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse fluently in English; additional languages are a valuable asset.
