**Role Overview** The Cashier plays a crucial role in managing customer transactions and delivering exceptional service at the point of sale. As part of our Specialized Sports Equipment team in Al Qasimia \- Sharjah, you'll work in an ONSITE environment focused on accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism. The ideal individual combines attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the sales and payment process. **Responsibilities** * Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions for motorbike sales, parts, and service\-related purchases. * Warmly greet customers and assist them with queries to ensure an efficient and friendly service experience. * Maintain accurate cash register records, including daily sales reports and receipt documentation. * Process customer returns and exchanges in line with company policies, securing necessary approvals and aiming for customer satisfaction. * Safeguard cash and other payment methods, ensuring all transactions are promptly and accurately recorded and reconciled at the close of each shift. * Keep the cashier area tidy and organized, providing a welcoming and professional environment for every customer. **Must have requirements** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining records. * Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities. * Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Proficiency in basic mathematics for handling and reconciling cash and payments. * Familiarity with point\-of\-sale (POS) systems and established cash handling procedures. * Education: Graduate or equivalent; courses in business or finance provide an advantage. * 2\+ years’ experience as a cashier or in customer service, ideally within the retail or automotive sector. * Relevant certifications in cash handling or customer service are welcomed. **Nice to have requirements** * Friendly, approachable, and able to engage customers warmly. * Dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. * Team\-player attitude, contributing positively to workplace morale and supporting colleagues. * Adaptable to dynamic environments and willing to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Professional demeanor, positively representing the company in all interactions.
