We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Barista. The Barista at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while delivering exceptional five-star hospitality and personalized guest service. The role involves preparing espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. The Barista maintains cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, operates coffee machines and equipment, monitors stock levels, and ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The position also requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, product knowledge, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while creating a welcoming and memorable experience in line with the luxury standards of Raffles and Fairmont. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to hotel standards • Provide exceptional five-star customer service and create memorable guest experiences • Take guest orders accurately and respond professionally to special requests • Demonstrate strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the coffee station • Maintain consistent beverage quality, taste, temperature, and presentation • Monitor inventory, replenish supplies, and report stock shortages • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations • Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues professionally • Coordinate with Food & Beverage team members to ensure efficient service • Promote menu items and recommend beverages based on guest preferences • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and luxury service standards • Contribute to achieving guest satisfaction and departmental operational goals What will you bring to this role? • High school diploma or equivalent qualification • Previous experience as a Barista or in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel • Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, brewing methods, and beverage service • Strong understanding of coffee varieties, specialty drinks, and beverage presentation • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards • Professional appearance and positive attitude • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays • Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills • Embrace the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions. • Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected • Create an environment where colleagues are empowered, supported and recognized
