Bar Manager

**Job Summary:** Responsible for the overall operation and management of the bar, ensuring excellent guest service, efficient daily operations, high\-quality beverage standards, and strong financial performance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and supervise bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and support team members. * Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor attendance and performance. * Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest complaints professionally. * Control beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and stock levels. * Monitor bar costs, sales, wastage, and profitability. * Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and consistency. * Develop and update cocktail, beverage, and promotional menus. * Train staff on cocktails, beverages, service standards, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation of the bar. * Coordinate with the kitchen, restaurant, purchasing, finance, and management teams. * Conduct regular stock counts and minimize wastage, breakage, and losses. * Prepare daily operational reports and communicate issues to senior management. * Support events, promotions, and special functions to maximize revenue. * Motivate the team and maintain a positive, professional working environment. **Requirements:** * Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or Senior Bartender. * Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service. * Excellent leadership, communication, and customer\-service skills. * Good knowledge of inventory and cost control. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced hospitality environment. * Strong organizational and problem\-solving abilities. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Hospitality or bar\-management certification is an advantage.
