Assistant Vice President - Large Corporate I RAK | Financial Services|

Job Description: • Identify opportunities for business expansion, new client acquisition, and market penetration. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors. • Assist senior leadership in the development and execution of corporate business growth strategies. • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and corporate planning. • Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth execution and alignment with overall corporate objectives. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess department performance. • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the department or division. • Ensure cost management, profitability, and financial compliance. • Collaborate with different departments such as Underwriting, finance, and other to implement corporate initiatives effectively. • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to drive business improvement. • Identify potential risks and work with senior management to mitigate them. • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal regulations. • Provide regular reports to senior executives on department or division performance. • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred. • Experience: • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a Sales & Marketing role within a corporate setting, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business outcomes. • Experience in insurance industry. • Skills: • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. • Familiarity with corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. • Desirable Traits: • High level of initiative and self-motivation. • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
