Assistant- Treasury Accountant

• Execute daily cash management activities, including monitoring balances, processing payments, and reconciling bank statements to ensure accurate financial records. • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, focusing on cash flow projections and treasury-related metrics. • Support the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain balance sheet integrity. • Process and record treasury transactions, such as debt repayments, investments, and foreign currency exchanges, with meticulous attention to detail. • 5–7 years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations, or finance, preferably in higher education, a research institution, or a multinational organisation. • Proven experience monitoring multiple bank accounts, cash-flow forecasts, restricted funds, grants, bank facilities, guarantees, and treasury risks. • Experience supporting multi-currency transactions, external audits, and banking compliance requirements. • Prepare short-term and rolling cash-flow forecasts covering expected receipts, planned payments, payroll and student stipends, approved capital and operating expenditure, and other forecast cash requirement • Practical knowledge of cash-position monitoring, cash-flow forecasting, grant cash tracking, bank facilities, guarantees, and treasury controls. • Coordinate with banks on cash-position information, facility statements, guarantees, charges, interest, foreign exchange requirements, account mandates, KYC renewals, and treasury-related service matters. • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
