Assistant Internal Auditor

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across various business functions and departments. • Assist in audit planning, risk assessments and preparation of audit programs. • Evaluate internal controls, identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions. • Perform financial, operational, compliance and process audits. • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks and recommendations. • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans. • Identify potential fraud risks and support investigations when required. • Review company policies, procedures and SOPs to ensure compliance. • Coordinate with department heads and management during audit assignments. • Support corporate governance and continuous process improvement initiatives • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Auditing. • CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required. • CIA, CISA, CFE, DISA or other relevant audit certifications will be an added advantage. • Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in Internal Auditing . • Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment and internal control frameworks. • Experience in financial, operational and compliance audits. • Excellent analytical, reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills. • Previous experience in a corporate group or large organization is preferred. • Preferred Candidate Profile • Candidates with hands-on internal audit experience. • Experience in preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management. • Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management and compliance. • Qatar/GCC experience will be an advantage.
