Corporate Compliance Officer

• Policy Development: Draft, revise, and implement internal operational policies, standard operating procedures, and codes of conduct to mirror changing legal requirements. • Risk Assessment: Design risk-based monitoring programs to proactively identify vulnerabilities, hidden operational risks, or non-conformity bottlenecks. • Internal Auditing: Conduct routine and spot-check compliance audits across departments to measure procedural adherence and ensure corrective actions are taken. • Regulatory Liaison: Manage communication, data requests, mandatory reporting returns, and external inspections from state and federal regulators. • Investigations & Remediation: Lead internal investigations into reported policy breaches, complaints, or ethical violations and establish disciplinary protocols to avoid reoccurrence. • Training & Education: Coordinate company-wide training and awareness campaigns to keep staff updated on compliance frameworks and ethical standards. • Regulatory Literacy: Deep understanding of industry-specific legislation • Analytical Thinking: Highly skilled at evaluating complex corporate processes, spotting loopholes, and designing logical, step-by-step control procedures. • Unwavering Integrity: Strong ethical judgment with the character and authority to enforce boundaries and confidently say "no" to high-ranking executives when necessary. • Communication & Conflict Resolution: Ability to articulate complex legal text into simple instructions for non-technical employees, while navigating sensitive interpersonal disputes with diplomacy. • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with compliance software, data-analytics tools, risk-management systems, and database workflows.
