Application Engineer

###### **Responsibilities** 1\. HVAC Design \& Equipment Selection •Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. •Perform cooling load calculations when required and review project cooling requirements. •Design and select VRF systems based on project requirements and manufacturer guidelines. •Select indoor units, outdoor units, controls, accessories, and other related equipment. •Prepare refrigerant piping layouts and verify piping limitations and system capacities. •Prepare equipment schedules and detailed BOQs. •Support the selection of packaged units, ducted split systems, and other DX air\-conditioning equipment when required. •Optimize equipment selections to provide technically compliant and commercially competitive solutions. 2\. Technical Proposals \& Submittals •Prepare complete technical proposals and equipment selections for projects. •Prepare technical submittals including datasheets, equipment schedules, compliance statements, selection reports, drawings, and supporting documents. •Review project specifications and prepare detailed compliance statements. •Identify deviations from project specifications and propose suitable technical alternatives. •Coordinate technical submittals with the sales team before submission to consultants and customers. 3\. Sales \& Tender Support •Provide technical support to Sales Engineers during tendering and quotation stages. •Review customer enquiries and recommend the most suitable HVAC solution. •Assist the sales team in preparing accurate BOQs and equipment cost requirements. •Support value engineering exercises to improve competitiveness while maintaining project requirements. •Attend technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and customers when required. •Conduct technical presentations and explain proposed VRF solutions to customers and consultants. •Support the sales team during technical negotiations and clarification meetings. 4\. Project \& Technical Coordination •Coordinate with consultants, MEP contractors, main contractors, and customers regarding technical requirements. •Review approved drawings and BOQs before order placement to ensure correct equipment selection. •Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers regarding technical clarifications and special project requirements. •Support the project and after\-sales teams with technical information during installation and commissioning when required. •Review site conditions when necessary and provide recommendations related to equipment application and installation. ##### **Job Requirements** ###### **Educational Qualifications** Education Degree : Bachelor Major : Mechanical Engineering ###### **Experience** Years of Experience : 3 \- 5 Years Field of Experience : HVAC application engineering, design, VRF systems, or technical support. ###### **Skills** •Strong technical knowledge of VRF systems and commercial HVAC applications. •Strong knowledge of VRF selection and design software. •Good understanding of cooling load calculations and HVAC design principles. •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. •Good knowledge of refrigerant piping design and VRF system limitations. •Knowledge of HVAC controls, central controllers, and BMS integration would be an advantage. •Good understanding of equipment selection and technical comparison between different HVAC solutions. •Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. •Good communication and technical presentation skills. •Ability to handle multiple projects and tender submissions simultaneously. •Proficiency in AutoCAD \& good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications ###### **Other Requirements** Gender : Male Age : 25 \- 40 Years Preferred Language : Arabic, English Duty Shift / Timings : One Shift / 8:00AM to 4:00PM ##### **Salary \& Benefits** Salary : Attractive Salary Other Benefits : As per the company policy. ##### **Job Remarks** Job Country : Kuwait Nationality : Any Career Level : Entry Level
