Cerner Application Analyst

**Purpose and Scope of the Job** Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cerner Analyst to join our IT Applications team. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience working across multiple Cerner modules, with a strong understanding of both clinical and operational workflows. This role involves system support, configuration, testing, and optimization of various Cerner solutions in collaboration with clinical and business stakeholders. **Main Responsibilities:** Ø Provide design, configuration, and optimization of solutions within Cerner Millennium to effectively support and enhance clinical and operational workflows. Ø Collaborate with clinical and operational departments (physician, emergency, nursing, materials management) to understand workflow needs and implement system solutions accordingly. Ø Develop and maintain reports and queries (CCL and PI Reports). Ø Develop, enhance, and maintain CCL programs, Discern Rules, and PowerForms, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Ø Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects. Ø Support testing efforts, including test script creation, execution, and validation of changes in CERT and PROD environments. Ø Work with HIM, nursing, and physician teams to ensure documentation workflows are efficient and compliant. Ø Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (clinical, operational, IT, and external vendors) to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Ø Provide end\-user training and ongoing support as needed. Ø Ensure quality and patient safety practices are followed. Ø Provides or promotes people’s centered care. Ø Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs. **Qualifications, Competencies and Skills** **Education:** § Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. § Cerner Certification(s) or formal training in relevant modules. **Experience**: § 5\-8 years of hands\-on experience with Cerner Millennium systems, including advanced configuration, support, and optimization. § Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations, with the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions. § Proven experience working in a hospital or healthcare IT environment. § Solid experience with integration engines or interface troubleshooting. § Advanced proficiency in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting CCL queries and reports, and custom solutions. **Strong understanding of multiple modules such as:** § Physician \& Nursing Documentation § Orders § Pharmacy § Emergency § Materials Management/Supply Chain § FSI § Discern Rules § Cerner Command Language § Dynamic Documentation **Language**: Well versed in English and Arabic Language will be an added advantage. **Other Preference:** § We welcome applications from qualified overseas candidates who are interested in relocating to Kuwait and pursuing career opportunities with us.
