Accountant

• Handle day-to-day general accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. • Process supplier invoices, payments, customer receipts, and journal entries. • Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations. • Monitor outstanding payables and receivables and follow up on overdue balances. • Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly financial reports. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. • Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. • Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and audit requirements. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial procedures. • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers on accounting-related matters. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Relevant experience in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries. • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. • CMA / CA / ICWA qualified or semi-qualified candidates will be an added advantage.
