ACCOUNTANT

• Prepare and post journal entries for all financial transactions. • Costing for foreign and local purchases. • Examine documents to ensure their accuracy. • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. • Develop and maintain internal control systems. • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, and stock adjustments. • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger transactions and reconciliations. • Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. • Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Assist in preparing tax returns. • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy. • Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading or manufacturing company. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management. • Knowledge of foreign and local purchase costing, inventory accounting, and stock reconciliation. • Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax, and applicable financial reporting requirements. • Proficiency in MS Excel and Orion ERP. • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
