Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong hands-on background in day-to-day accounting operations, excellent knowledge of MS Excel, and proven working experience with Zoho Books and other ERP/accounting solutions. Key Responsibilities • Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents. • Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations. • Assist with monthly and periodic financial reporting. • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables. • Assist with audit requirements and provide necessary financial documentation. • Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time. Work efficiently with Zoho Books and other ERP/accounting software • Prepare and manage reports using MS Excel , including data analysis and reconciliations. • Support the senior finance/accounting team with routine accounting activities What We Offer • Salary up to AED 6,000, depending on experience and suitability. • Additional benefits as per company policy. • Opportunity to work in a professional environment in Abu Dhabi with a fast growing environment. Candidate Requirements • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience • B.Com / Bachelors Degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification. • Strong hands-on experience in everyday accounting operations. • Proven practical experience working with Zoho Books. • Good working knowledge of MS Excel. • Experience using ERP/accounting software and ability to adapt to different systems. • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and general accounting. • Good attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong numerical and analytical skills. • Handling task independently • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Candidates with a proven and stable work record will be preferred. • UAE/GCC accounting experience is an advantage. • India Driving licence is advantage • English, Malayalam / Tamil language proficiency.
