Yard Supervisor

• Oversee daily yard operations, ensuring efficient organization and flow of materials, equipment, and personnel. • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety regulations to minimize workplace hazards. • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to schedule incoming and outgoing shipments, optimizing turnaround times. • Manage yard staff, providing training and guidance to enhance productivity and maintain high performance standards. • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in yard supervision or related field within the logistics industry. • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) is a strong plus, showcasing commitment to safety standards. • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
