Work Permit Receiver

Receive, review, and verify work permits before starting any job. Ensure all permit conditions, safety precautions, isolations, and control measures are properly implemented. Coordinate with Permit Issuers, Area Authorities, HSE, Operations, and Supervisors. Verify the worksite is safe and ready before accepting the permit. Ensure workers understand the job scope, hazards, required controls, and permit conditions. Conduct or participate in Toolbox Talks / Pre-Job Safety Meetings. Monitor work activities to ensure continuous compliance with the approved permit. Ensure proper controls are in place for Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, Excavation, Electrical Work, Lifting Operations, and Line Breaking. Ensure LOTO / isolation requirements are followed where applicable. Identify unsafe conditions and stop work when permit conditions or safety requirements are not met. Manage permit suspension, extension, handover, and closure in accordance with the PTW procedure. Maintain accurate permit records and documentation. Ensure compliance with client HSE procedures, site regulations, and applicable Oil & Gas / Petrochemical standards. Requirements experience as a Work Permit Receiver in an Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Industrial environment. Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and HSE requirements. Experience working in operating plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, or similar industrial sites. Valid Work Permit Receiver (WPR) certification from the relevant client/site is preferred. Good knowledge of job hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures. Familiarity with LOTO, confined space, hot work, gas testing, and SIMOPS. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-risk industrial environment and under pressure.
