Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Wood Factory Manager with a strong background in wood manufacturing and factory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining product quality, optimizing production capacity, and leading the factory team to achieve business objectives. Candidates must have proven hands-on experience in managing wood manufacturing factories. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wood manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted production. • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and operational strategies to meet project deadlines and business targets. • Manage the complete manufacturing process, including furniture production, joinery, carpentry, interior fit-outs, and finishing works. • Supervise production teams, technical staff, supervisors, and skilled craftsmen. • Monitor production performance, productivity, material consumption, and operational costs. • Ensure quality control standards are consistently maintained throughout all production stages. • Manage machinery, equipment, preventive maintenance, and factory resources. • Optimize material utilization and minimize production waste. • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards. • Coordinate with project management, procurement, design, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of production requirements. • Identify operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, with substantial experience in wood factories. • Proven track record in managing wood manufacturing facilities and leading production teams. • Strong technical knowledge of woodworking processes, furniture manufacturing, joinery, carpentry, and finishing techniques. • Practical experience with CNC machines, woodworking machinery, and modern manufacturing technologies. • Strong understanding of production planning, quality management, cost control, and inventory management. • Experience managing large-scale production operations and meeting project deadlines. • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in factories specializing in customized furniture and interior fit-out production. • Knowledge of production optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Experience working with real estate, hospitality, and commercial project requirements.
