Job description

Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of weld joints. Verify compliance with WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications. Monitor welding processes and ensure adherence to quality procedures. Identify welding defects and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) as needed. Maintain inspection records, welding logs, and related documentation. Coordinate with welding engineers, site supervisors, and third-party inspectors. • High School graduate or higher, majored in Engineering (Mechanical). • Minimum 5 year working experiences in oil, gas and petrochemical projects, out of which minimum 3 years in inspection experiences on welding/ piping erection. • Experiences in Saudi Aramco projects is preferred and highly recommended. • Shall be certified as an American Welding Society (CWI), CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or higher, or SaudiAramco approved equivalent. • ASNT Level II qualification is recommended. • Shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ASME B31.3, 31.4 and31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1. • Good Knowledge on Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and welding process. • Good knowledge on procedures relevant welding/ piping erection works.
