Welding Inspector - CBT / Aramco Approved

Key Responsibilities • NDT Coordination • Witness and validate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT. • Review NDT reports and ensure acceptance criteria compliance. • Documentation & Reporting • Review and endorse QA/QC documentation including: • Welding procedures (WPS/PQR) • Inspection reports • Material traceability records • Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports and submit to client/TPI agency. • Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions. • Compliance & Standards • Ensure adherence to: AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, ISO standards, Client specifications and project requirements • Verify material identification and traceability. • Stakeholder Coordination • Interface with contractor QA/QC, client representatives, and project team. • Provide technical clarification and inspection feedback. Additional Requirements • Willing to work in onshore yard environments. • Ability to work under strict timelines and quality requirements. • Immediate availability preferred. • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI or equivalent (Mandatory). • CBT Certification (as per client/project requirements) . • Knowledge of international codes and offshore fabrication standards. • Experience Requirements: • 5-10 years in welding inspection. • Mandatory experience in Third Party Inspection (TPI) assignments. • Having Experience in offshore structures (jackets, topsides, modules) fabricated in onshore yards is added advantage).
