Welding Engineer

• Prepare the PWPS, WPS and PQR development for pipeline; • Coordinate with lab to conduct the mechanical test, like bend, marco, CTOD etc. • Coordinate with the Procurement Department and vendors regarding all welding-related work. • Coordinate with the QAQC Department on all RFI welding for site activities. • Report the progress and related matters to the QAQC Manager. • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports summarizing relevant work deliverables. • Prepare the ITP and other welding documents; • Have the knowledge about the engineering critical assessment (ECA); • Have the knowledge for the automatic welding process (GTAW+GMAW) and other welding process; • IWE (International Welding Engineer) • Working Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas long-distance gas transmission pipeline EPC projects • Standard Proficiency: Skilled in API 1104, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.8, NACE MR0175; proficient in WPS/PQR development and welder qualification administration.
