Warehouse Operations
• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals, drums, IBCs, and raw materials.
• Maintain warehouse layout, storage systems, and material flow for maximum efficiency.
• Oversee loading/unloading operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. If necessary to be action as instructed.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed consistently.
Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and monthly physical inventory.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, or variances.
• Maintain all inventory records in ERP systems and ensure real-time data accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material availability.
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE guidelines, chemical handling protocols, and PPE usage.
• Ensure proper labelling, segregation, and storage of chemicals.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and support incident reporting and corrective actions.
Team Leadership
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Train team members on safe handling of chemicals, equipment operation, and warehouse procedures.
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure smooth shift operations in coordination with production manager.
Equipment & Maintenance
• Oversee proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely servicing and repairs.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate documentation for inbound/outbound shipments, GRNs, delivery notes, and stock reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports.
• Ensure all documentation meets internal and regulatory requirements.
Any ad hoc responsibilities assigned by the line manager
• Knowledge of chemical warehousing, hazardous material handling, and storage standards.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, FEFO, cycle counting).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP B1, S4HANA or similar).
• Ability to operate and supervise forklift and material-handling equipment including the team.
• Understanding of UAE regulations for chemical storage and transport.
• Knowledge of MSDS and chemical labelling requirements.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Technical training in warehouse operations or logistics is an advantage.
