Warehouse Manager

• Manage daily warehouse operations including inbound receiving, unloading, put-away, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of FMCG products. • Plan manpower, shift schedules, warehouse capacity and resource allocation to meet business volumes and delivery timelines. • Ensure accurate stock records through ERP/WMS transactions, cycle counts, physical stocktakes, reconciliations and timely investigation of discrepancies. • Implement FIFO/FEFO principles, batch and expiry-date tracking, product traceability and controls for damaged, expired, returned and slow-moving stock. • Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Sales and Finance on inbound shipments, delivery priorities, stock availability, returns and documentation. • Supervise warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators and other warehouse staff; set targets, coach employees and evaluate performance. • Maintain proper storage conditions, housekeeping, racking standards, temperature controls where applicable, and safe handling of goods. • Oversee dispatch accuracy, loading plans, delivery documentation, vehicle turnaround and on-time order fulfilment. • Enforce HSE procedures, equipment inspections, material-handling safety, fire precautions and warehouse access controls. • Identify opportunities to optimize space utilization, warehouse layout, processes, labour productivity and operating costs. • Prepare daily and monthly warehouse reports covering stock accuracy, productivity, damages, ageing, order fulfilment and operational issues. • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline; relevant professional certification is an advantage. • 5–10 years of warehouse or distribution experience, including demonstrated team management responsibility. • Prior experience in the UAE FMCG industry, ideally in high-volume food, beverage or consumer-goods warehousing and distribution. • Strong knowledge of inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, stock reconciliation, inbound/outbound operations and warehouse safety practices. • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Excel and operational KPI reporting.
