Waiter (With Fine Dining Experience)

Job Title: **Waiter** Monthly Salary: **QAR 2,500** plus FREE Duty Meal, Shared Accommodation and Transportation to and from work **Job Summary**: The Waiter is responsible for delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious table service that reflects the restaurant's high\-end dining standards. Working under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor, this role manages the full guest journey at the table — from greeting and order\-taking to course pacing and farewell — ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and elevated dining experience. **Responsibilities:** * Greet, seat, and attend to guests warmly and professionally, presenting menus and offering knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage selections. * Take accurate food and drink orders, entering them correctly into the point\-of\-sale system and relaying any special requests or allergies to the kitchen. * Coordinate the pacing of courses with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely delivery and a smooth, well\-paced dining experience for each table. * Serve food and beverages following proper etiquette and presentation standards, including tableside preparation or plating where required. * Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal, proactively checking in, refilling beverages, and addressing requests promptly and courteously. * Process guest payments accurately, including handling bills, discounts, and settlements, in line with company cash handling and billing procedures. * Maintain in\-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or beverage pairings, to confidently guide guest choices. * Address guest feedback or concerns professionally, escalating unresolved issues promptly to the Restaurant Supervisor. **Qualifications**: * High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a waiter, preferably within a high\-end restaurant or hotel environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong menu and service knowledge, and a polished, guest\-focused approach to fine dining service.
