Job Title: **Senior Waiter and Captain Waiter** Monthly Salary: **QAR 2,300 (Senior Waiter); QAR 2,500 (Captain Waiter)** plus FREE Duty Meal, Shared Accommodation and Transportation to and from work **Job Summary**: The Senior Waiter (Chef de Rang / Captain Waiter) takes ownership of a designated section of the restaurant, leading a small team of waiters and runners to deliver polished, personalized, and technically accomplished table service. Working under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor, this role combines advanced tableside skills with on\-the\-floor leadership, mentoring junior staff and ensuring every guest within the section receives a consistently exceptional fine\-dining experience. **Responsibilities:** * Oversee a designated station or section of the restaurant, coordinating waiters and runners to ensure smooth, well\-paced, and attentive guest service. * Lead the guest experience within the section, from welcoming and seating to menu guidance, order\-taking, and farewell, ensuring a personalized and memorable visit. * Guide, train, and supervise junior waiters and runners on service techniques, menu knowledge, and etiquette, acting as a mentor on the floor. * Liaise closely with the kitchen and bar to manage course timing, special requests, dietary requirements, and VIP guest preferences within the section. * Recommend food and beverage pairings, including wine and specialty drinks, drawing on advanced product knowledge to enhance the guest experience. * Handle guest concerns or special requests within the section confidently, resolving issues where possible and escalating to the Restaurant Supervisor when needed. * Ensure mise en place, table settings, and section cleanliness meet the restaurant's presentation standards before, during, and after service. **Qualifications**: * High school diploma or hospitality\-related qualification, with a minimum of 3–4 years of experience as a waiter or senior waiter within a high\-end restaurant or hotel environment. * Advanced tableside service and beverage knowledge, strong leadership and mentoring ability, and a refined, guest\-focused approach to fine dining service.
