About the Role At tashas, we believe hospitality is about making people feel genuinely welcome. We are looking for passionate, energetic and service-driven Waiters and Waitresses who are fluent in Arabic to join our team at tashas Sharjah. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will play an important role in creating memorable experiences through attentive service, thoughtful recommendations and genuine connection with our guests. Whether it's a morning coffee, a business lunch or a family gathering, you will help create the warm and engaging atmosphere that has made tashas one of the region's most loved caf destinations. Your Mission You will deliver exceptional service with warmth, professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. By combining product knowledge, efficiency and genuine hospitality, you will help bring the tashas experience to life while building meaningful relationships with our guests. What You'll Be Doing • Guest Experience & Service Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression from the moment they arrive. Guide guests through the menu, confidently offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our food and beverages. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams. Deliver orders promptly and professionally, ensuring every dish and drink reaches the correct guest. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit. Present bills and process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns with professionalism and care. • Service Excellence Uphold the service standards that define the tashas experience. Ensure tables are beautifully presented, clean and set according to brand standards. Clear, reset and prepare tables efficiently for incoming guests. Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment throughout service. Support daily operational tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the restaurant. Work closely with colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. • Teamwork & Culture Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service. Support new team members and contribute to a positive onboarding experience. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect and accountability. Embody the values and spirit of tashas in every interaction. Participate actively in daily briefings and team communication. • Quality & Brand Standards Maintain a strong understanding of our menus, products and service philosophy. Ensure all food and beverages served meet our quality and presentation expectations. Champion our three pillars: beautiful food, stunning environments and engaging service. Consistently uphold grooming, uniform and personal presentation standards. • Health, Safety & Compliance Adhere to all local health, safety and food handling regulations. Follow HACCP procedures and company standards at all times. Handle food, beverages and cleaning products safely and responsibly. Maintain clean and hygienic workstations and service areas throughout every shift. • Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress or Server in a quality restaurant, caf or hospitality environment. • Fluency in Arabic and English is essential. • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A warm, professional and confident personality. • The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence. • A positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork.
