Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations in Dubai. Responsibilities: • Safely operate and maneuver commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations within Dubai. • Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations, and safety standards while driving and ensure the safe transportation of cargo. • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues or defects promptly. • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transportation, using straps, ropes, or other securing devices as necessary. • Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery times, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays that occur during transportation. • Interact professionally with customers and clients during pick-up and delivery, ensuring exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise. • Collaborate with the logistics team to plan routes and schedules for efficient delivery operations, taking into account traffic conditions and other factors. • Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and reporting. • Maintain a clean and organized truck, performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as refueling, oil changes, and tire inspections. • Stay updated on Dubai s traffic laws, regulations, and road conditions to ensure compliance and safe driving practices. Requirements: • Valid UAE driving license (Truck) with a clean driving record. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation company. • Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of Dubai s road network. • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for commercial truck operation. • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. • A customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor. • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
