Travel Consultant & Flight Reservation Trainer/Instructor

About the Role Atlanta Training Center is seeking a practical, experienced **Travel Consultant \& Flight Reservation Instructor** to teach adult learners the fundamentals of travel agency operations, flight booking, and ticketing software. Key Responsibilities * Teach students how to build flight itineraries, search availability, and manage bookings. * Guide learners through IATA codes, global routing geography, time zones, and travel documentation checks. * Train students on GDS software commands, fare rules, ticket issuance, reissues, and refunds. * Demonstrate modern web\-based B2B travel booking portals, markup applications, and holiday packaging. * Conduct practical drills and assess student progress in a hands\-on computer lab environment. What We Are Looking For 1\. Practical Industry Experience * Strong hands\-on background working in a travel agency, Travel Management Company (TMC), Destination Management Company (DMC), or airline reservation desk. * Real\-world experience handling client flight bookings, corporate itineraries, and ticketing operations in the UAE or GCC market. 2\. Technical \& Software Skills * **GDS Systems:** Strong proficiency in **Amadeus** (preferred), **Sabre**, or **Galileo (Travelport)**. * **B2B Web Portals:** Familiarity with modern online wholesale travel booking portals (e.g., TBO Holidays, dnata, Travelclub, or similar platforms). * **Ticketing Operations:** Thorough understanding of Passenger Name Records (PNRs), fare conditions, ticket re\-validations, automated reissues, cancellation fees, and refunds. * **Travel Tools:** Familiarity with **Timatic** for passport, visa, and health requirement checks. 3\. Core Competencies * Ability to break down software commands and travel rules for complete beginners in a clear, step\-by\-step manner. * Good communication skills in English. * Patient, practical, and approachable teaching style.
