Thai Massage & Spa Therapist - Luxury Wellness Dubai Mall

NUAI Spa & Wellness is an exciting new luxury Thai-inspired spa and wellness destination at The Dubai Mall, featuring approximately 25 premium treatment rooms. We are recruiting highly experienced Thai Massage & Spa Therapists to join our founding team and deliver exceptional wellness experiences combining authentic Thai traditions, advanced treatment techniques and refined luxury hospitality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Professional Treatments • Deliver exceptional traditional Thai massage, Thai oil massage, aromatherapy, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, foot reflexology and other approved wellness treatments according to individual qualifications. • Perform a minimum of three recognised massage or wellness treatment modalities to a consistently high professional standard. • Conduct thorough guest consultations, understanding preferences and identifying treatment precautions and contraindications. • Personalise treatments appropriately while maintaining NUAI's approved treatment protocols and service standards. • Maintain excellent technical skills, including pressure control, body mechanics, treatment flow and professional draping. • Follow approved treatment timings, hygiene procedures and operational SOPs. Luxury Guest Experience • Create a calm, welcoming and personalised experience for every guest. • Deliver the highest standards of discretion, professionalism and guest comfort. • Maintain excellent communication throughout the guest journey. • Understand guest preferences and recommend suitable treatments or follow-up visits. • Support appropriate retail recommendations and guest retention. Spa Operations & Professional Standards • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness. • Ensure all equipment, linen and treatment products are prepared correctly. • Work collaboratively with reception, supervisors and management. • Maintain accurate guest treatment notes in line with company procedures. • Follow all health, hygiene, safety and professional conduct requirements. • Participate in team briefings, training and performance assessments. Training & Development • Complete NUAI's pre-opening training and treatment certification programme. • Participate in practical trade tests and regular treatment quality assessments. • Maintain consistently high treatment standards and welcome ongoing professional development. • Support the development of an exceptional founding team and luxury service culture. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about authentic wellness, exceptional treatment quality and delivering memorable guest experiences. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in massage therapy or spa wellness treatments. • Proven expertise in traditional Thai massage and Thai wellness techniques. • Professionally trained in at least three recognised massage or wellness treatment modalities. • Relevant massage therapy qualifications, professional certifications or recognised vocational training. • Experience in luxury spas, five-star hotels, premium resorts or established wellness destinations is strongly preferred. • Excellent practical treatment skills, including pressure techniques, body mechanics, guest consultation and professional draping. • Additional experience in head spa, body scrubs, body wraps or non-medical wellness treatments is an advantage. • Good spoken English and the ability to communicate professionally with international guests. • Exceptional personal hygiene, grooming and professional presentation. • Understanding of treatment safety, hygiene standards and guest confidentiality. • Strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and attention to detail. • Willingness to follow NUAI's service standards, SOPs and continuous training requirements. • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays in accordance with UAE employment regulations. PREFERRED BACKGROUND Candidates with experience in internationally recognised luxury hotel spas, premium wellness resorts or established Thai spa brands are particularly encouraged to apply. Authentic Thai massage training and proven treatment quality are essential selection criteria. LOCATION & AVAILABILITY • Candidates currently based in the UAE, GCC or internationally are welcome to apply. • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred. • Willingness to relocate to Dubai where applicable.
