Technical Manager (Marble/Granite/Natural stone)

• The Technical Manager is responsible for all technical details of projects, from site measurements and shop drawings to material approvals and coordination with the factory. They work closely with the Project Manager, Procurement, and Draftsman to make sure every project is built as approved. • Visit project sites with the Project Manager and provide project and shop drawings. • Understand the “As Built” drawing process. As Built drawings are received from contractors or consultants, and Shop Drawings are then prepared and submitted back within our scope of work. • Prepare shop drawings personally or get them made through the Draftsman, and check them before submission. • Submit all material and technical details (how and what will be built) so the whole team, from the factory to the Project Managers, can execute accordingly. • Handle material and sample approvals, pre-qualification approvals, technical approvals, and material submittal approvals. • Coordinate with Procurement and the factory for material lists and cutting lists. • Coordinate with the Draftsman and Project Manager at site. • Work with the Project Manager to track day-to-day execution and make sure all invoicing is completed. • Take responsibility for all technical details prepared and provided. • Previous experience in a marble, granite, or natural stone company is preferred . • Experience in preparing shop drawings and handling technical submittals for stone projects. • Knowledge of AutoCAD software • Understanding of stone cutting, fabrication, and installation. • Experience in dealing with contractors, consultants, and site teams. • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Architecture or a related field.
