Job description

• Analyze and document complex business requirements for core banking system enhancements and new features, translating them into functional and technical specifications. • Design and configure core banking modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other banking systems. • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing, to validate system functionality and data integrity. • Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues within the core banking platform, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions. • § Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in technical or techno-functional support/implementation/development roles within the Temenos Transact (T24) core banking system with exposure in R20 or above releases. Previous experience of working with a bank in UAE will be added advantage. • Module Specifics: Extensive, in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payments Hub (TPH). • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in Temenos development tools/frameworks: jBASE, TAFJ/TAFC, InfoBasic programming, and Temenos APIs/Integration Frameworks (OFS, REST/SOAP APIs). o Knowledge of SQL/jBase and windows environment for Temenos. § Banking Knowledge: Strong understanding of core banking operations, Islamic banking products (CASA, Wakala, Murabaha, Mudaraba, Ijarah etc), payment processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, CRS, CPS, IFRS etc). § Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes or effective workarounds. § Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, developers, and QA teams. § Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or in a related field. § Certifications: Temenos certifications are a plus.
