JOB VACANCY: SENIOR SURVEYOR / SURVEYOR NRS AS & Tetra JV Project: Wadi Laban Cable-Stayed Bridge Project � Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) About the Position NRS AS & Tetra JV is seeking an experienced and technically competent Senior Surveyor to join our team for the Wadi Laban Cable-Stayed Bridge Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must possess strong surveying skills, excellent geometry calculation capabilities, and proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD. The candidate must be capable of independently handling both field surveying operations and office-based survey calculations, geometry control, and documentation. Experience in segmental bridge erection and bridge geometry control will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities • Carry out precise field surveying activities using Total Stations, Digital Levels, and other surveying instruments. • Perform survey calculations related to coordinates, alignment, elevations, offsets, levels, and structural geometry. • Carry out geometry control and dimensional checks for bridge construction and segment erection. • Prepare, check, and verify survey calculations using MS Excel. • Prepare and review survey drawings, layouts, and related information using AutoCAD. • Establish, maintain, and verify survey control points and benchmarks. • Monitor and verify the position, alignment, elevation, and geometry of structural elements. • Prepare survey reports, inspection records, as-built information, and other technical documentation. • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and required tolerances. • Identify survey discrepancies and support corrective actions to maintain the required construction accuracy. Required Qualifications and Skills • Diploma or Degree in Surveying or a related field. • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Very good knowledge of geometry calculations, particularly for construction and structural works. • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD . • Strong understanding of coordinate calculations, alignment, elevation, levels, offsets, rotations, and dimensional control. • Practical experience in land surveying and construction surveying. • Ability to independently perform field surveying and office-based calculations and documentation. • Good working knowledge of Total Stations, Digital Levels, and other surveying instruments. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction layouts. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be highly preferred: • Segmental bridge erection and precast concrete segment surveying. • Bridge geometry control and dimensional control. • Surveying for cable-stayed bridges or other major bridge construction projects. • Segment alignment, elevation control, coordinate calculations, and geometry verification during bridge erection. • Preparation of survey calculation sheets and geometry control reports using MS Excel and AutoCAD.
