Structural Site Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Site Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to review and ensure the compliance of all structural construction documentation and site execution activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing structural drawings, reinforcement details, material submissions, method statements, and design calculations to ensure adherence to approved specifications, project requirements, and relevant industry codes and standards. The role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, the design office, and site inspection teams to ensure the proper implementation of structural works throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Review and verify structural drawings, reinforcement shop drawings, and construction documentation for accuracy and compliance with approved designs. • Evaluate method statements, material submittals, technical data sheets, and structural calculations submitted by contractors and subcontractors. • Ensure all structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable local and international codes and standards. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and design teams to resolve technical issues and obtain necessary approvals. • Support site teams by providing technical guidance on structural-related matters. • Review requests for information (RFIs), technical queries, and design clarifications. • Monitor construction activities to ensure proper implementation of approved structural designs and methodologies. • Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to maintain quality and compliance standards. • Collaborate with site inspectors and quality teams to ensure inspections and approvals are completed in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate records of reviews, approvals, design changes, and technical correspondence. • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Structural Engineering. • 5–7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, design review, or construction supervision. • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel works. • Familiarity with local and international building codes, standards, and construction specifications. • Proven experience in reviewing shop drawings, structural calculations, material submissions, and method statements. • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office applications. • Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects is preferred.
