Storm Water Management Engineer

• Lead the review and development of stormwater drainage designs, including network layouts, grading interfaces, flood mitigation measures, and landscape storage strategies. • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses using specialist software to model rainfall and runoff, assess development impacts on water bodies, and identify flood risks. • Develop and coordinate extreme rainfall protection measures, including vendor inputs for flood barriers, geocells, flap valves, and related systems. • Design and assess stormwater solutions such as culverts, detention and retention basins, and green infrastructure to reduce flood risks and improve water quality. • Carry out site investigations to identify drainage issues, assess site conditions, and recommend suitable engineering solutions. • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of practice. • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience specifically in stormwater management design and analysis. • Proficiency in industry-standard hydraulic and hydrological modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
