Store Keeper

Job Objective: To support the Inventory Control & Store Management functions of the company. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure optimum inventory and stock availability as per the approved procedures. • Handle stock and inventory control activates. • Checking and receiving of goods into stock and placing items onto the shelf/stock location. • Tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received to take remedial actions • Issuing items/ materials to users as per requirement. • Review of item requirements of non stock items from users. • Oversee the physical withdrawal of stock, retrieving stock from its location, packaging and dispatch. • Arrange delivery and collection of material/ items as per requirement. • Prepare Purchase requisitions for the inventory based on reorder level and as per the requirement. • Preparing and updating the records for all incoming, outgoing and return of stock • Conducting periodical review and physical stock inventories & Review of stock holding level from time to time keeping in view the consumption pattern, lead-time, etc for each material/item. • Assist in identification of non-moving/surplus and obsolete /damaged materials or items to recommend for their disposal. • Maintaining all records related to the inventory control & store management and prepare required reports as per the approved policies and procedure. • Any additional tasks assigned by department head *Ensure compliance with the company’s policies , rules and procedures related to Health , Safety and Environmental Management. **Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
