Overview A premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Staff Physician specializing in Psychiatry to assess, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing mental health conditions. The role involves developing individualized care plans, coordinating appropriate therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other medical specialists to support patients' mental health and wellbeing.
Clinical Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and review patients' medical and psychosocial histories.
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions within the physician's clinical scope.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychological interventions, and referrals.
• Monitor treatment response, medication effectiveness, and potential adverse effects.
• Assess patient safety and identify situations requiring urgent intervention or escalation.
• Coordinate care with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other medical specialists.
