Overview A premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its surgical and musculoskeletal services. The physician will assess and manage patients presenting with musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative conditions, fractures and other orthopaedic conditions within their credentialed scope.
Clinical Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive orthopaedic consultations. Assess musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Review X-rays, MRI, CT and other diagnostic investigations. Develop individualized treatment plans. Provide non-operative management where appropriate. Perform surgical procedures within approved scope. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care. Manage fractures and musculoskeletal trauma. Monitor rehabilitation and recovery. Coordinate care with physiotherapy and rehabilitation services. Refer complex cases where subspecialist management is required. Maintain accurate clinical and surgical records. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
Requirements Recognized medical degree. Recognized specialist qualification in Orthopaedics. Relevant specialist-level experience. DOH licence or eligibility. Appropriate surgical and clinical experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
