The successful candidate will provide specialist technical expertise in geochemical investigations, sampling and analysis, data interpretation, geochemical modelling, environmental assessment, and the evaluation of geochemical risks associated with soil, groundwater, surface water, sediments, and rock. Lead and support geochemical investigations and assessment programmes. Develop appropriate geochemical sampling and analysis strategies based on project objectives and site conditions. Review existing geological, hydrogeological, environmental, and geochemical datasets. Design and supervise soil, groundwater, surface\-water, sediment, rock, and other environmental sampling programmes. Establish appropriate sampling protocols, quality assurance/quality control procedures, and chain\-of\-custody requirements.
