Software Engineer Backend

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs that power our applications. • Implement efficient and secure data storage solutions, optimizing database performance and integrity. • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver features. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring high availability and reliability of our systems. • Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, to ensure code quality. • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and learning from others. • Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluating new technologies and approaches for future development. • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. • Stay up-to-date with emerging backend technologies and industry trends, proactively seeking opportunities for innovation. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development, demonstrating a strong track record. • Proficiency in at least one major backend programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a knack for debugging complex issues. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment. • A proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for creating high-quality software. • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly, contributing to continuous improvement.
