Roles & Responsibilities - Site Installation Lead Carpenter (Joinery)
Tooba Wood Products Factory is hiring Site Installation Lead Carpenters (joinery) for on-site projects in Doha, Qatar.
Lead the on-site installation of workshop-made joinery - fitted furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, doors, panels, kitchen and bathroom units - interpreting shop drawings and fitting lists.
- Supervise and coordinate the installation team at project sites: set out and check dimensions, direct fitting, fixings, leveling and alignment, and handover with the client's site team.
- Manage materials and protection on site: verify delivered joinery components against BOQ/drawings, inspect for damage in transit, plan offloading and storage, and protect works before, during and after installation.
- Liaise daily with the work manager, main contractor and client's site representatives on installation progress, interface points and any drawing queries.
- Salary offer QAR 3,500-4,500/month depending on experience and practical test, plus accommodation, transportation, health insurance and return ticket every 2 years.
Tooba Wood Products Factory is looking for an experienced joinery carpenter to lead on-site installation of workshop-made fitted furniture and cabinetry in Doha, Qatar.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on joinery experience fitting and installing workshop-made fitted furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, doors and panels. Able to read and work from shop drawings and fitting lists without constant supervision.
- Prior experience on commercial fit-out or interior projects, installing kitchen and bathroom units and other fitted joinery.
- Proven record of leading or supervising an installation crew, setting out and checking dimensions, and enforcing joinery workmanship standards.
- Practical test on joining is part of selection - applicants should expect to demonstrate measuring, setting out, fitting and adjustment on a live sample.
- Candidates currently in Qatar with a transferable visa / NOC will be prioritized; overseas applicants from India, the Philippines, Nepal and Sri Lanka are also welcome.
- Must be willing to relocate / deploy to project sites across Doha and Qatar.
