Overview Of The Role: • The role of a Site Engineer at Al-Futtaim involves overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The Site Engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, including monitoring safety compliance and environmental standards. Effective communication with various stakeholders such as project managers, subcontractors, and clients is crucial. What You Will Do: Project Delivery • Successfully deliver construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Resolve technical and logistical issues quickly to keep the project on track. • Minimize delays and disruptions by proactively managing site operations. Compliance and Safety • Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. • Manage multiple subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers with differing priorities and schedules. Communication • Maintain clear, timely communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. • Skilled communicator who can translate technical details into clear instructions and reports. What Qualifies You For The Role: • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management best practices. • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Proficiency with project management tools and site reporting software. • Ability to coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor teams effectively. • At least 3-5 years of experience in construction site management or a related field. • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
