Shipping Officer (Tamheer Program)

Key Responsibilities: • Ensuring that all required preparations for the shipping process are in place, including the arrangements for the invoices issuance of the shipments, providing customers with the official papers and documents, in addition to updating the SAP System with the related Shipping function transactions, as well as following up with the shipping companies on shipping schedules and status. • Demonstrates organizational ethics and values, aligns own behavior and actions with them • Collecting the pertinent information required for establishing the shipping plans • Identifying the local shipments in order to complete the required preparations for the shipping process • Communicating with the warehouse function in order to inform them with the daily required shipments to take the necessary actions accordingly • Completing all paperwork and issuance of invoices in a timely manner to facilitate the shipping process • Updating the SAP System with the related Shipping function transactions in a daily manner in order to ensure alignment between the Shipping function and all JPI-concerned functions • Documenting, filing, and maintaining all shipping function papers and documents such as shipping companies schedules, invoices, Air Way Bills (AWB s) and shipping orders • Following up with shipping companies on shipping schedules and status • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below: Education: • Diploma degree in any relevant discipline or BSc degree in Business Management / Computer or any relevant discipline. • GOSI : Not Registered in GOSI in last 6 months. • Tamheer : The candidate has not previously benefited from the Tamheer program. Skills: • Performs moderately difficult tasks using job-related applications, Office applications, and other relevant programs, as well as uses the functions of the Internet effectively • Tracks regular communication with other contract parties and acts thoroughly to monitor contract compliance • Able to read and write fluently and accurately in all styles and forms of the language on any subject as well as those pertinent to professional needs • Communicates effectively with all organizational levels; in written and orally, also detects and discerns underlying meanings • Consistently practices constructive critical thinking as opposed to following procedures blindly, in attempt to enhance and improve work • Normally works within approved budget, and continuously seeks to avoid deviations • Appropriately balances between bureaucracy and applying procedures flexibly depending on the situation to accomplish tasks more effectively and facilitate for capturing special opportunities • Appropriately balances between bureaucracy and applying procedures flexibly depending on the situation to accomplish tasks more effectively and facilitate for capturing special opportunities • Continuously seeks to develop themselves and broaden knowledge and skills.
