SHAWARMA CHEFF

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Shawarma Chef** to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in preparing authentic chicken and beef shawarma, maintaining exceptional food quality, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, marinate, and season chicken and beef shawarma according to standardized recipes. * Operate and maintain shawarma grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. * Slice and serve shawarma while maintaining consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. * Prepare sandwiches, wraps, platters, and other menu items as per company standards. * Ensure proper portion control to minimize waste and maintain food cost targets. * Monitor food quality, freshness, and cooking temperatures throughout the day. * Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station at all times. * Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and proper food storage practices. * Assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining stock levels of meat, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients. * Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and Municipality regulations. * Work closely with the Kitchen Supervisor and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. * Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications \& Experience * Minimum **2 years of experience** as a Shawarma Chef in a restaurant, café, or quick\-service restaurant. * Experience preparing both chicken and beef shawarma. * Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong teamwork and communication skills. * Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
