Senior Quantity Surveyor (Post Contract)

ob Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) – Post Contract Location: Dubai, UAE Experience: 10–14 years with MRICS Job Description We have an opening for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Consultants experience) with strong post-contract experience in building projects in the UAE and coming from Consultants side. The candidate should have a solid background in cost management, contract administration and commercial management gained with a reputable cost consultancy or developer in the UAE. Key Responsibilities • Manage post-contract quantity surveying activities from project commencement to completion. • Prepare and review interim payment applications, valuations and payment certificates. • Manage variations, change orders and claims. • Prepare and monitor project cost reports and cost forecasts. • Review contractual documents and ensure compliance with contract conditions. • Prepare, review and negotiate final accounts. • Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams on all commercial matters. Requirements • 10–14 years of total experience and MRICS. • Minimum 4 years of UAE experience is mandatory and Consultants experience. • Strong post-contract experience in building projects such as schools, malls, hospitals, hotels, residential or commercial developments. • Previous experience working with a reputable cost consultancy, quantity surveying consultancy or established property developer. • Strong knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, interim valuations and final accounts. • Excellent commercial, negotiation and coordination skills. • Ability to independently manage post-contract responsibilities and liaise with project stakeholders. Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in established cost consultancies or reputable developers in the UAE are preferred.
