Senior Procurement Engineer

* Review and evaluate contracts, commercial terms, and contract comparisons to support procurement decisions and provide strategic recommendations to management. * Lead the identification, evaluation, and prequalification of qualified UAE-based vendors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, compliance, and project suitability. * Develop and align project procurement strategies with management, considering project requirements, procurement schedules, budgets, risks, and UAE market conditions. * Lead the resolution of technical, commercial, and project-related issues with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted project progress. * Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly procurement reports covering procurement progress, vendor performance, cost status, risks, challenges, and recommended actions. * Act as a senior procurement advisor to Project Management teams, providing strategic guidance on procurement matters and proactively addressing risks and challenges throughout project execution. * Monitor procurement performance against project budgets and schedules, identifying potential delays, cost impacts, and supply risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures. * Support and mentor procurement team members, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, project requirements, and company standards. Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 6+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the construction industry. * Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and vendor management. * Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, budgets, and timelines. * Strong experience handling commercial, technical, and supplier-related issues. * Professional certification such as CIPS, PMP, or CSCP is preferred. * Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
