The role will drive media coverage, industry engagement and audience awareness across a diverse portfolio of B2B exhibitions. This includes developing compelling, newsworthy content that highlights commercial priorities, exhibitor innovations, industry developments and event activities to generate awareness, interest and attendance. Working closely with internal teams, senior leadership, external PR agencies and key stakeholders, the role will oversee the entire communications lifecycle for each exhibition, from strategic planning and content development to media relations, on-site press management and post-event reporting. • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field. • 6–8 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications or media relations, preferably within exhibitions, B2B events, trade associations, business media or PR agencies. • Proven experience developing and implementing PR strategies across multiple brands, events or business units. • Strong track record of securing media coverage and developing engaging stories for trade, business and mainstream media. • Experience managing PR agencies, external partners, budgets and internal stakeholders. • Excellent writing, editing, pitching and media relations skills, with strong editorial judgement. • Experience managing senior spokespersons, media interviews, press briefings and live-event communications. • Ability to translate industry trends, developments and business priorities into compelling media content. • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines. • Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic or additional regional language skills would be an advantage. • Familiarity with media monitoring platforms, PR reporting tools and communications performance metrics.
