**Senior Network Security Engineer Job Description** The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organisation's network infrastructure. The role ensures reliable network operations, monitors network performance, manages security risks, performs vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, resolves network security incidents, and supports the continuous improvement of the organization's network environment. \- **should be Omani nationality** Responsibilities * Manage the day\-to\-day operation of the organization's network infrastructure. * Design, deploy, maintain, and document secure network solutions. * Configure and support LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and ISP connectivity. * Monitor network performance and ensure high availability. * Identify, investigate, and resolve network security vulnerabilities and incidents. * Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. * Maintain network hardware, software, and related equipment. * Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support network operations. * Prepare and maintain network documentation and technical reports. * Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices. Experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. * **5\+ years of experience** in network administration and network security. * Experience with enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewalls. * Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and incident response. * Experience working with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
