Job description

• Lead end-to-end taxi operations for the Makkah region, ensuring smooth daily operations and service excellence. • Drive fleet utilization, driver productivity, ride completion, and revenue performance to achieve business targets. • Manage large-scale driver and fleet operations, ensuring maximum vehicle availability and operational efficiency. • Monitor key operational KPIs including fleet utilization, driver availability, cancellations, trip completion, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization. • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve profitability, efficiency, and overall business performance. • Ensure compliance with Saudi Transport General Authority (TGA), traffic regulations, municipality requirements, and all statutory guidelines. • Lead accident management, vehicle maintenance coordination, compliance audits, and operational risk mitigation. • Partner with HR to support driver recruitment, onboarding, retention, training, and performance management. • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Commercial, Customer Experience, and Finance teams to improve operational processes and customer experience. • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives through automation, data analysis, and operational excellence projects. • Prepare operational dashboards, MIS reports, and performance reviews for senior leadership. • Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify opportunities for productivity and revenue enhancement. • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and customer focus. • Act as the primary point of contact with government authorities, regulatory bodies, fleet partners, and external stakeholders on operational matters. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, or a related discipline (MBA preferred). • 10–15 years of experience in Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale transportation, taxi, ride-hailing, logistics, or fleet operations. • Strong experience managing large driver fleets (500+ drivers preferred) with ownership of operational performance and service delivery. • Experience working within Saudi Arabia or the GCC mobility/transportation industry will be highly preferred. • Strong understanding of fleet management, transportation operations, dispatch, driver lifecycle management, and operational KPIs. • Experience working with government authorities and ensuring regulatory compliance within the transportation sector. • Excellent analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret operational data and drive business decisions. • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and operational reporting tools. • Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
