Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Select and specify field instruments: flow, level, pressure, temperature, analysers and control valves; issue datasheets and requisitions. Design ESD, SIS and fire & gas systems; perform SIL determination and verification to IEC 61511. Prepare I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-ups, termination and cabinet layouts. Review DCS / PLC / package vendor documentation, cause-and-effect and control narratives. Support factory acceptance tests, loop checking and commissioning. Coordinate with process, piping and electrical disciplines on instrument layout and interfaces. Bachelor's degree or above in Instrumentation, Automation or Electrical Engineering. 6 to 12 years of instrumentation and control experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects. Proficient with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) or equivalent engineering database. Good command of written and spoken English.
