Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Owner

Spinnaker is supporting a growing international maritime and logistics group in appointing its first in-house Senior Developer / Technical Owner .
This is an opportunity to take ownership of business-critical applications, build new software solutions and help shape the company s technology capabilities as it moves development and application ownership in-house.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain full stack business applications from concept through to production.
• Take ownership of existing applications, including enhancements, troubleshooting, releases and documentation.
• Build REST APIs and integrations with third-party platforms, including shipping systems, payment gateways, GPS/RFID and EDI.
• Support AWS infrastructure and cloud migration alongside external technology partners.
• Review vendor-developed applications, technical designs and deliverables.
• Develop AI-powered features using LLM APIs, including document automation and intelligent customer support.
• Establish development standards across Git, CI/CD, testing and deployment.
Requirements:
• 7+ years full stack software development experience , with ownership of production applications.
• Strong C# / .NET or Java development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong REST API development and systems integration skills.
• Hands-on AWS experience , including EC2, RDS, S3 and IAM.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and structured software delivery.
• Practical experience integrating LLM APIs and AI development tools into applications.
• Confidence reviewing existing codebases, working with external vendors and engaging non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Microsoft Entra ID, serverless technologies or shipping and logistics systems would be advantageous, but maritime experience is not essential.
This is a hands-on technical ownership opportunity, suited to an experienced developer who enjoys building software, solving complex integration challenges and taking responsibility for an evolving application landscape.
